What the paid links are
Buttons and links that say “Check price on Amazon” open a product page on amazon.com. They carry
this site's Associates tag (theyeticooler-20) so that a qualifying purchase is
credited here. If you buy after clicking one, this site may earn a commission.
You pay nothing extra. The price you see on Amazon is the price you would see without the link.
What is never for sale
- Rankings. No brand can buy a recommendation, a position or a favourable line.
- The verdict. Which cooler suits which job is decided before any link is added.
- Coverage. Nobody pays to be included or excluded here.

Where the numbers come from
Ice-retention figures on this site are quoted from published tests by other labs and are credited on the page where they appear. Marion Tucker has used these coolers in the field; her own ice-mass log has not been run yet, and no number here is presented as hers until it is. The method page shows the empty results table.
Prices and ratings
This site does not print Amazon prices, star ratings or review counts. Those change, and a stale figure on a review page misleads. Check the current price on Amazon at the moment you buy.
Images
Product images on this site are illustrations, labelled where they appear. No image here is a photograph of a cooler being tested, and none is offered as evidence.
Other programmes
None. Amazon Associates is the only affiliate relationship this site has. There are no sponsored posts, no paid placements and no coupon partnerships.
